ZEHRA FAZAL (Titus) is a ruthless truth seeker with a deep love of coffee and cake. She has performed her adapted and original work on stages around the world, including Washington, DC, New York, Toronto, Kyoto, Hollywood and San Francisco. ANDREW McCARTHY (Laertes) is honored to be working with Better than Shakespeare!  After an illustrious middle and high school theatre career, Andrew retired from the stage to pursue full-time employment as a geologist.  Since college, he has been tapped several times to act in music videos, vigorous living room readings, and the occasional student film.  Titus and Dronicus is his first web production, but not his first flirtation with internet fame… 

COREY WALTER JOHNSON (Dronicus) is an actor and writer who performs at the Upright Citizens Brigade where he is currently on the Mess Hall improv team, Moon Hundred.  He was a contributing writer for The Onion News Network, and collaborates regularly with his sketch team, Onassis (SF Sketch Fest, Friar's Club Sketch winners). MATT MACNELLY (Hamlet) is an actor, producer, and musician in Los Angeles. He's a recent transplant from New York City, where he directed, adapted and performed in the off-Broadway production of "What We Know". Prior to that, he received his MFA from the University of California, San Diego and his BA from Georgetown University in DC. He can be seen in the upcoming feature film "lady-lake".

KATE WILLIAMS GRABAU (Ophelia) co-founded Better than Shakespeare with Megan Kelly by accident in a coffee shop. She recent completed a national tour of the revival of "Camelot"- where she played Lady Anne. Kate is a real actor, with an MFA from USC and lots of credits. MARK HEIN (Claudius) has been acting, directing and producing in LA for the last 20 years. He focuses on indie films, web series, and small theatres, because that's where the creative action is. He’s the artistic director of Actaeon Players. He fell in love with Shakespeare as a lad and is honored to be part of Titus And Dronicus.


Writer-Producers

MEGAN KELLY is a playwright and TV writer, based in Los Angeles. She is currently the writers' assistant on Wayward Pines, and previously worked on the Hulu show 11/22/63 starring James Franco. She is the co-founder of Better Than Shakespeare, and wrote and directed their world premiere, Much Ado About Something, for the 2014 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Her plays include The Solace of St. Mark’s and The Ascent. She earned her M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from the University of Southern California.

MADHURI SHEKAR is a playwright from Chennai, India, currently based in Los Angeles. Her plays include In Love and Warcraft (available on Samuel French) and A Nice Indian Boy. SEAMUS SULLIVAN likes writing about genre entertainment, terror, sex, music, and mortality. He's a proud company member of Flying V Theatre, which has produced his plays Valkyrie in the Roller Disco, Me and the Devil Blues, and Incurable. He also works with Sacred Fools, for which he wrote the long-running serialized play Mr. Mimblegast. His work has appeared at Rorschach Theatre, the Source Festival, Page-to-Stage, and Arena Stage's downstairs series.


Director

LIZ RIZZO moved to Los Angeles to pursue a directing career in the early aughts and directs short-form narrative projects, thriving on creative collaboration and positive energy on set. Her recent short, “Zero Sight: Bad Call,” from Red 5 TV’s YouTube show, The Continuum, played at film festivals in LA, NY, Ojai, and Orlando.  A graduate of FSU Graduate Film School, a member of the Alliance of Women Directors and a WriteGirl mentor, she is a yogi, a gamer, and a lover of vegetables (and 2-shots). Editor and Composer

GREG NICOLETT is a full time composer based in Los Angeles, and is excited to be working again with the fine folks at Better Than Shakespeare. Greg's currently composing the score for Disney's new animated series "Goldie and Bear." His previous credits include the HBO film "Muted," Showtime's mobster thriller "Chicago Overcoat,"  the Sundance short "above and beneath," and "Porcelain Unicorn," first prize winner of Ridley Scott's "Parallel Lines" competition. Producers

ZACH EVANS (producer) has over a decade of experience in film, television and new media. He has produced television pilots with actors such as Meghan Markle, Kadeem Hardison, Beverly Mitchell, and Richard Riehle, and was a Consulting Producer on indie feature How I Got Lost starring Aaron Stanford and Rosemarie DeWitt. He has also produced and production managed non-fiction series such as the action sports show Clean Break on Crackle and travel show Adventure Guides on the Outdoor Channel.

NOOPUR SINHA (producer) has spent the last decade producing television shows, short films and digital content in the two biggest film industries in the world – Hollywood and Bollywood! She’s been an  Executive Producer with Zee TV, an independent writer/producer of short films in New York, and graduated from the prestigious Peter Stark Producing Program at USC. Projects include “The Broken Camera”, “The FOB & I” and “So Happy for You” starring Emmy-winning comedienne Christine Nangle and the family drama “Mr. Goode” starring Oscar-nominated actress Sally Kirkland.

DEEPAUK MURUGESAN (executive producer) is a management consultant based in Boston with a deep interest in all forms of visual, social and interactive media. In a past life, he was a columnist and film reviewer for one of the largest news publications in India. When not at his laptop working at his day job, Deepauk can be found... at his laptop trawling the internet for interesting content both new and old.
